About Us
The Great Discipleship Chapter (2 Timothy 2)
The Process (2 Timothy 2:2)
- God taught Paul
- Paul taught Timothy
- Timothy taught Faithful men
- Faithful men teach Others
The People (2 Timothy 2:3-7)
- The role of a good soldier of Jesus Christ – “No one serving as a soldier gets entangled in civilian affairs, but rather tries to please his commanding officer.”
- The role of an athlete – “who competes does not receive the victor’s crown except by competing according to the rules.”
- The role of a hardworking farmer – “should be the first to receive a share of the crops.”
The Presentation (2 Timothy 2:15)
- “Present yourself to God as one approved, a worker who does not need to be ashamed, rightly handling the word of truth.”
The Pursuit (I Timothy 2: 22-25)
- “Pursue righteousness, faith, love, and peace, along with those who call on the Lord from a pure heart. Have nothing to do with foolish, ignorant controversies; you know that they breed quarrels. And the Lord’s servant must not be quarrelsome but kind to everyone, able to teach, patiently enduring evil, correcting his opponents with gentleness.
The Prayer (2 Timothy 2:25-26)
- “God may perhaps grant them repentance leading to a knowledge of the truth, and they may come to their senses and escape from the snare of the devil, after being captured by him to do his will.”
The History of the 7 Blades
CPR Ministries
Thirty years ago we created a 501c3 non-profit called CPR Ministry, which addressed the need for a modern-day Christian Protestant Reformation. We knew that the culture was trapped in a religion called Secularism. Now, CPR means Christian Paideia Reset. Paideia is the key to the formation of a culture. In Ephesians 6, “Fathers raise your children in the Paideia of God”, a way of life. At one time people understood this concept. But now a Reset is needed.
Disciples University (DU)
Twenty years ago we created a Worldview Roadmap which outlined the framework of a true university. The Universal Truth from The Word God applied to all the “Diverse” subjects taught in our schools. “Universals in Diversity” or University.
The Religion of Secularism has been the tail WAGGING the culture, so our (WAG) strategy Worldview, Apologetics, and Genesis accessed on our phones is used to address the false idea that man can live our lives without God.
7 “Blades” A discipleship framework that uses a “WAG” emphasis.
Worldview – We compare and contrast various worldviews.
Apologetics – We use Reasons, Evidences, Answers, to Destroy false systems.
Genesis – We understand foundational truths.
Our Focus:
- To understand the plan of the Trinity taught in John.
- To understand Key Words in each Blade.
- To understand a Fishing Strategy called Breakfast on the Beach.
